The leaders in their separate statements said that Nawaz Sharif had effectively represented the aspirations of the Kashmiri people at the highest forum of the world. Aasiya Andrabi re-arresterd in Srinagar

Srinagar, October 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police rearrested the Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Aasiya Andrabi, after she was released on bail in Srinagar.
The local court granted bail to Aasiya Andrabi in a case registered against her for addressing a rally in Pakistan over phone last month, but she was arrested again, a DeM spokesperson said.
Aasiya Andrabi’s counsel, Mir Shafaqat Hussain, told mediamen that the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Srinagar, Masarrat Shaheen, admitted the bail of Aasiya Andrabi and ordered her release. The court held that Aasiya shall not leave Jammu and Kashmir without prior permission and shall attend each and every date of hearing in the case registered against her in Soura police station in Srinagar. »

Srinagar, September 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has said that Jammu and Kashmir is not just a border dispute between Pakistan and India, but it is an issue of the future of over 13 million people of the territory.
Syed Ali Gilani in his statement issued in Srinagar, today, said that the people of Kashmir were the fundamental party to the Kashmir dispute, but India had enslaved them by the dint of military might. He said that the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination had been acknowledged by the entire world including the United Nations, and they had advocated its solution through referendum. The veteran leader appealed to the world powers not to see the dispute over Jammu and Kashmir through the prism of Pakistan and India, but asked for addressing it in its historical perspective. »

New York, September 30 (KMS): Pakistan Prime Minister’s Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, calling for impartial investigation into ceasefire violations on the Line of Control (LoC) has said that Pakistan wants peaceful and equitable resolution of the Kashmir dispute.

Srinagar, September 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the veteran Hurriyet leader Syed Ali Gilani has completed a period of estimated 150 days under house detention of Indian authorities in the territory.
The spokesman of his forum in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Syed Ali Gilani was only once allowed to venture out and that was when he had to apply for passport. He said 68 forum leaders and members have either been lodged in various police stations or kept under house detention.
Senior Hurriyet leader Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi in a media interview in Srinagar said that the Kashmir movement could be taken to its logical conclusion by strengthening the leadership of Syed Ali Gilani. »

Pakistani flags waved at various places
Srinagar, September 27(KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian forces have fired tear gas and used batons to disperse hundreds of protesters in the territory.
At least 12 people were injured in protests in Srinagar and other parts of the territory, which broke out after Eid prayers. Protesters were angered by the arrest of religious and Hurriyet leaders, and a ban on internet services. They chanted pro-independence slogans, hurled stones at police who tried to stop them from marching in Srinagar and at least two other places in the region.
Soon after Eid prayers, people started pelting stones at police and paramilitary forces in several areas of Srinagar, the officer said. He said the forces used tear smoke shells to disperse the protesting youths. »

Kashmiris united under Gilani’s leadership: Hakeem
Srinagar, September 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown was observed, today, against the killing of a father and his three-year-old son by unknown gunmen in Sopore, call for which was given by the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani.
The strike was also aimed at protesting against six mysterious killings of youth in Baramulla district in the past seven days.
Little Burhan was laid to rest amid sobs and tears next to his father’s grave at Sagipora village in Sopore.
Meanwhile, a protest demonstration led human rights defender Muhammad Ahsan Untoo was held at Press Colony in Srinagar against the killings. Protest demonstrations were also held in other places of the territory.
Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Zafar Akbar Butt, Farida Behanji, All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Voice of Victims and High Court Bar Association in their separate statements demanded probe by an independent agency into the gruesome incident. »
