LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has directed to ensure foolproof security of Juma-tul-Wida and Eid-ul-Fitr processions, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.

While addressing a high-level meeting to review overall law and order situation in the province CM Punjab stated that every possible step is being taken for the safeguard of public.

In this regard, police should perform their duties diligently and with devotion to further improve security situation in the province.

CM Punjab also directed that arrangements for foolproof security should be guaranteed on the occasion of Juma-tul-Wida, Chaand Raat and Eid-ul-Fitr whereas senior police authorities should remain in the field to analyse the security measures.

The meeting was attended by Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, Punjab Home Minister Col. (R) Shuja Khanzada, Inspector General (IG) police and other relevant higher authorities
