High-level MWM delegation led by Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari met Federal Interior minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan at Punjab House, Islamabad. Central Deputy Secretary General Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Allama Muhammad Ameen Shahidi, Secretary General MWM Punjab Allama Abdul Khaliq Asadi and Central Secretary Political affairs Nasir Shirazi were part of the delegation.
According to the statement issued from interior ministry, overall situation of the country was discussed and matters related to security of Ahle-Tashee were discussed in the meeting.
On this occasion, delegation asserted its stance that Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen will stand in the front rows in guarding national interest and pride.
Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan said that complete security of Ahle-Tashee and readdressing the apprehensions of Ahle-Tashee are among the foremost priorities of the government.
According to our source, this meeting continued for about 1 hour and MWM delegation discussed the issue of political arrests of workers in Gilgit-Baltistan and Punjab by N-League government.
