Kashmir belongs to Kashmiris: JKlf

Greater Kashmir

Srinagar, Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) vice-chairman Advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt  termed as ‘ridiculous’ the recent statement of Indian foreign ministry spokesman that Kashmir is a bilateral issue between India and Pakistan.

“Kashmir belongs to Kashmiris. It is the people of Jammu Kashmir who are real masters of Kashmir state and prime party to the Kashmir dispute. It is not an integral part of India. Neither is it a bilateral issue between India and Pakistan. This issue is related to the determination of future of millions of Kashmiris and terming it as a bilateral issue is like living in a fools’ paradise,” Butt said.

Meanwhile, Front has paid rich tributes to the martyrs of Galwanpora including Bashir Ahmad Bogami, Manzoor Ahmad Commando, Nazir Ahmad Khan Sheikhpora, Saqib Rafiq of Pamposh Colony, Muhammad Yasin Rawathpora, Muneer Ahmad Karfali Mohalla, Farooq Ahmad Butt, Abdul Majeed Rawathpora and Abdul Hamid Khan on their martyrdom anniversary, reiterating the pledge to take their mission to its logical end.

A high level delegation led by Advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt today visited Galwanpora and participated in a condolence meeting held in memory of Galwanpora martyrs today.
