MWM gets High Court verdict against Nawaz Govt political victimization of Shiite Muslims Tuesday, 07 July 2015


Majlis-e-Wehdatul Muslimeen (MWM) got the verdict of Lahore High Court against the poltical victamization of MWM activists and Shiite Community Of Punjab which are being harassed by the pro-Saudi Nawaz Government in Islamabad and Punjab province.
According to the MWM Political Secretary Mr Nasir Sherazi, the High court forbids Federal and provincial governments and administration to not victimize MWM activists and shiite notables.
On writ petition of Central Secretary Political Affairs Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Syed Nasir Shirazi, High court said in this order that Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen (MWM) is a peaceful political and religious party, its activists have all kind of political and religious freedom to perform their activities across the country under constitution of Pakistan.
Nasir Shirazi said that on the instructions of Punjab government, district administrations were victimizing and employing revengeful tactics against peaceful and patriotic activists of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen in Chiniot, Jhang, Bhakkar and Sargodha beside the permit holders of Azadari processions, and local leaders of the community.
He said that if provincial and district administration will write Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen as banned outfit or associate it to any banned party then they will have to face contempt of court.
Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen is a country wide national political party. We always raised voice against every oppressor and anti-state elements and never subdued before any oppressor and despot . We are being sent behind bars because of this crime. We will not be intimidated by such dirty tactics of Muslim League (N) rather we will remain present in the field with more strong determination.
He expressed his concern over the misuse of National Action Plan alleged that Nawaz and Punjab Governments intentionally victamized the law-abiding Shiite and Sunni (Beralvi) Communities in cover of balance formula and to protect their Takfiri political allies. He urged the Armed forces of Pakistan and Government to stop the misuse of NAP against peaceful people of the country and hold the countrywide operation against Takfiri terrorists which were involved in the killing of 80,000 Pakistani people.
