MWM Prominent Leaders Under Arrest for Lambasting Saudi Arabia.

Ghulam Abbas, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen’s Provincial Policitical Secretary and former
legislator to assembly, Mazhar Abbas have been arrested a few days back by the Gilgit Police under Anti-Terrorism Act and National Action Plan.
According to police sources, the two suspects were in hiding for the past four months. An FIR was lodged against them along with other leaders on Anti-Terrorism Act and National Action Plan for lambast speeches and protests against Saudi Arabia for waging war against Yemen.
Arif Qambari, an ally of aforementioned was also arrested earlier by the police in connection but he was released later on bail by an Anti-terrorism court. Whereas in the same case, Shaikh Isa had arranged bail prior arrest.
Judge Raja Shahbaz Khan of ATC has sent MWM’s arrested leaders on Physical Remand till July 28.
It is worth mentioning that MWM’s prominent leaders Shaikh Nayyer Mustafvi and Shaikh Bilal Samairi remain underground while police is conducting intelligence based raids for their arrest.
