Assembly session has been called on August 6 at 10am
AZAD KASHMIR (Dunya News) – Two Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) ministers on Tuesday have been relieved from cabinet memberships against MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s provocative speeches.
Official notifications have been issued today. Kashmir Prime Minister (PM) Chuadhry Abdul Majeed has taken this step against Hussain’s attempted incitement against Pakistan Army and anti-state speeches. Two MQM members Tahir Kokhar and Saleem Butt were part of the cabinet on alliance basis.
Separately, Azad Kashmir Assembly’s session has been called on August 6 at 10am.
The meeting will discuss and seek approval of resolution filed by Finance Minister Chaudhry Lateef Akbar against Hussain.
