Jammu and Kashmir Liberation front (JKLF) Monday said that the best way to pay homage to innocent Shaheed Zahid Rasool Bhat and other martyrs like him is to “remain away from India and its stooges and refrain from participating in their two-faced politics”.
“The politicians who are shamelessly posing for getting photographed with the casket carrying the body of our innocent martyr are directly responsible for his murder and their hypocrisy is only rubbing salt on the wounds of Kashmiris," a JKLF statement issued here said.
While quoting its zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal who addressed a condolence meeting held on the occasion of funeral prayers of Bhat, it said: "We are today saying farewell to another victim of state sponsored terrorism and on this occasion we have to understand that who is responsible for all this.”
He said that the "lust of power of so-called rulers who shamelessly are today posing with the corpse of our martyrs, is responsible for these murders as it is the same stooges who have sold their faith and religion for attaining power that too at the hands of RSS like chauvinists.”
Earlier, authorities placed under house arrest JKLF chairman Yasin Malik and vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakshi to prevent him from leading a demonstration in Batengoo village, it said.
