JKLF to hold sit-in protest on Friday

: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik on Tuesday said that his party will hold a sit-in at Lal Chowk on Friday to protest government’s “deliberate attempts to promote hatred among various religious communities in the state”.
In a statement, Malika alleged that from the day of “installation of present ruling regime, no stone is being left unturned to terrorise and harm the majority community of Jammu Kashmir.” He alleged that the present government was being run from Nagpur.
“PDP and BJP are promoting hatred between various communities and their only aim is to communalize the atmosphere, make people fight each another and thus strengthen the illegal occupation of India,” he added.
“Nobody is allowed to speak or act freely and a blanket ban has been imposed on all kinds of peaceful political activities. In this regard, we will hold a sit-in protest at Lal Chowk on Friday to protest this government highhandedness.”
