Independent legislator Er Rashid was Monday attacked with ink in New Delhi, reports said.
Rashid was attacked with ink at Press Club of India in Delhi for hosting a beef party earlier this month at his residence in Srinagar, they said.
After concluding the press conference, a fringe group "Hindu Sena' threw black ink at Rashid.
A TV channel reported that two people have been detained over the attack.
Rashid was also beaten by BJP MLAs in Jammu and Kashmir assembly earlier this month.
