Mina stampede is an extremely tragic incident that whole Islamic world mourns: Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri

Central Secretary General of MWM Pakistan Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri said in a press conference that Mina stampede is an extremely tragic incident that whole Islamic world mourns. Families of thousands of missing persons are still searching for and worried about their loved ones and they are not being provided confirmed information from anywhere. Our well-known religious scholar Allama Ghulam Muhammad Fakhar ud din is also missing. Allama Nasir Abbas also demanded that clear and un-biased investigations of this incident should be carried out. It was the responsibility of Saudi government to provide security to pilgrims’ lives and wealth. According to reports, several injured pilgrims died because of thirst since they did not get water and this shows the indifference and cruelty of Saudi government.
Disrespect of bodied of martyrs was even showed on international media, thousands of dead bodies are still laying in the containers. The whole Muslim Ummah is angry on such cruel behavior. Saudi involvement in Syria, Yemen and Bahrain has diverted the attention of Saudi government and this administrative negligence became the cause of Mina incident. Saudi government should be made answerable on such harsh behavior. Pakistani government did not react on the incident rather it has adopted apologizing attitude, our foreign ministry has not raised voice on any platform for missing persons due to the fear of Saudi government’s anger . Foreign Ministry should have immediately formed teams to collect data of missing persons to inform their families.
With regard to municipal elections, he said that Pakistan is an Islamic ideological country hence, Islamic rules and values should be followed here but every order of Pakistan’s incompetent bureaucracy is against Islamic values. Schedule of municipal elections in Punjab has been issued to take place during Muharram that has mortified the sentiments of Shia community. We strongly protest to election commission over this decision and demand that the schedule be changed. While criticizing the foreign ministry, Allama Raja Nasir said “Our government took the right decision of not sending forces against Yemen and that made us a part of the international block that has Russia, Shina, Iran and Iraq in it whereas India has always been pro-terrorist block. If we had adopted judicious behavior in foreign matters at that time, India could be alienated at international level but our foreign policy remained imperfect and vague. All anti-Islam powers, including the US, are afraid of a strong Pakistan and a well-designed foreign policy can play an important role in making Pakistan a strong country. He further said that political government should have strongly supported operation Zarb e Azab so that terrorism can be eradicated from the country but the political government, by misusing the National action plan, started taking actions against those who, themselves, have been targets of terrorism. We have been targeted, by revengeful actions, at state level in Punjab and Gilgit Baltistan. We do not accept any restriction on azadari in the name of National Action Plan and we will strongly protest in case this happens. Punjab government’s shia enmity has reached such a level that banning orders even for our deceased religious scholars have been issued.
