Police in Jammu and Kashmir Friday foiled a protest march by activists of Democratic Freedom Party at Sanat Nagar here.
Scores of party activists tried to march towards Lal Chowk to present a memorandum to UN Observers Group at their office in Sonwar.
However, police swung into action and detained all the protesters.
DFP chief Shabir Shah was disallowed to lead the protest as he continues to be under house arrest.
“We have mailed the memorandum to UNO chief Banki Moon,” Shah told Greater Kashmir over phone.
